Sites without perimeter fencing and shared lots present special challenges in tracking undesirable activity. Today I monitored a maintenance garage for a shipping fleet and the site has an open yard shared with other trucking companies. From time to time, we see unusual activity and are quickly able to identify people who do not belong. This afternoon someone entered the area in their personal vehicle, made several laps around the site, and then stopped to move items into their trunk. All of their activity was recorded, including shots of the driver and the vehicle’s license information.
